Training provided by SAMU (Mobile Emergency Care Service) strengthens the preparedness of professionals to act in emergency situations. The team addresses essential topics such as choking relief maneuvers, care in cases of cardiorespiratory arrest, seizures, fainting, nosebleeds, and other occurrences that require a quick and appropriate response.
Professionals from the Municipal Center for Autism Care participated, this Thursday (July 30th), in a first aid training session given by the SAMU team. The training aimed to prepare the staff to act safely and efficiently in emergency situations until the arrival of the specialized team.
During the course, the team covered essential topics such as choking relief maneuvers, care in cases of cardiorespiratory arrest, seizures, fainting, nosebleeds, and other occurrences that require a quick and appropriate response.
According to the coordinator of SAMU (Mobile Emergency Care Service), Murillo Barcelos, the training strengthened the professionals’ preparedness to deal with different emergency situations in the workplace.
“The purpose of this course is to provide first aid until the rescue service arrives. We train professionals to act in very adverse situations, such as cardiorespiratory arrest, choking, nosebleeds, fainting, and seizures, providing support to patients, family members, and the teams working in this unit,” he emphasized.
This initiative reinforces the commitment of the Municipality of Trindade to the continuous training of its employees and to the promotion of increasingly safe, humane, and prepared care to meet the needs of users of the Municipal Center for Autism Care.
