Mayor Marden Júnior and Secretary of Infrastructure, Gustavo Queiroz, inspect an intervention that improves road safety, strengthens urban drainage, and solves a historical problem in the southern region of the municipality.
The Municipality of Trindade, through the Municipal Department of Infrastructure, is closely monitoring the construction of the gabion wall on Rua Divino Pai Eterno, in Vila Nossa Senhora do Perpétuo Socorro, in the southern region of the municipality.
On the morning of this Tuesday (July 28th), Mayor Marden Júnior, accompanied by the Municipal Secretary of Infrastructure, Gustavo Quiroz, inspected the progress of the work, which represents an important intervention to solve a historical problem faced by residents of the region.
During the visit, the mayor highlighted the importance of the investment for the population.
“This is a very important project that will benefit everyone who passes through this region. We have solved a chronic problem and ensured greater safety and quality of life for our population. I thank the residents for their trust in our administration and for their understanding during the execution of the work. Soon, we will deliver yet another great project for Trindade,” stated Marden Júnior.
Secretary Gustavo Queiroz emphasized that the intervention is part of the municipal administration’s preventive actions to minimize the impacts of the rainy season.
“We carried out a strategic project to improve the collection and drainage of rainwater throughout the southern region of the city. This is a structure designed to last, providing greater safety, efficiency, and peace of mind for the population,” he emphasized.
The intervention aims to improve traffic conditions, road safety, and urban mobility, directly benefiting residents of Vila Nossa Senhora do Perpétuo Socorro and all drivers who use Rua Divino Pai Eterno daily.
The project utilizes modern drainage techniques, with the implementation of a gabion structure, a solution widely used in land containment, drainage, and stabilization works.
Gabions are composed of metal boxes filled with stones, forming a resistant and permeable structure capable of controlling the flow of rainwater and reducing the risk of erosion. With this technology, it will be possible to significantly improve water drainage during periods of heavy rainfall, preserve pavement, extend the lifespan of the road, and provide greater safety for drivers and pedestrians.
The Municipality of Trindade reaffirms its commitment to improving urban infrastructure by investing in structural projects that solve historical problems, strengthen mobility, and promote greater quality of life, safety, and well-being for the entire population.
