The Municipality of Trindade, through the Municipal Secretariat of Infrastructure (Seinfra), begins, this Tuesday (July 21st), the asphalt resurfacing works in the East Region of the municipality. The investment includes more than 250,000 square meters of new asphalt, benefiting approximately 90 streets and avenues distributed across six neighborhoods of the city.
The Pontakayana, Maysa II, Barcelos, Jardim Ipanema, Residencial Araguaia, and Conjunto Rio Vermelho neighborhoods will receive improvements that will enhance security, strengthen urban mobility, and raise the quality of life for thousands of residents.
Mayor Marden Júnior highlighted that the project represents another important infrastructure investment for the East Region and reinforced the administration’s commitment to addressing the needs of the population.
“Our entire team is committed to making this important investment, solving a chronic problem faced by residents of the Pontakayana sector,” said the mayor.
The interventions represent an investment of approximately R$ 1.85 million, originating from a state parliamentary amendment, and reaffirm the municipal administration’s commitment to modernizing road infrastructure and enhancing neighborhoods.
The municipal secretary of Infrastructure, Gustavo Queiroz, highlighted the importance of the project for the population of the East Region.
“The Municipality of Trindade, through the Department of Infrastructure, is initiating the asphalt resurfacing process in the East Region. More than 250,000 square meters will be resurfaced. In the Pontakayana Sector alone, approximately 104,000 square meters will be covered, representing an investment of nearly R$ 2 million from a parliamentary amendment. We are using these resources to further improve neighborhoods and enhance road safety for our entire population,” the secretary pointed out.
This initiative is part of the Trindade City Hall’s investment program in urban infrastructure, which expands the rehabilitation of the road network in various regions of the municipality, providing safer streets, more comfort for drivers and pedestrians, and better mobility conditions for the entire population.
