JUBs Goiás 2026 brings together around 7,000 participants and consolidates the municipality as a protagonist in the national university sports scene.
Trindade will be one of the host cities for the Brazilian University Games (JUBs) Goiás 2026, considered the largest edition in the competition’s history. Promoted by the Brazilian University Sports Confederation (CBDU), the event will take place between August 23 and September 5, in Goiânia and Trindade.
The expectation is to bring together around 7,000 participants, including students, athletes, managers, referees, and technical teams. The competitions will take place in more than 30 sports venues, which consolidates Goiás as a benchmark in hosting major sporting events.
In addition to strengthening university sports, the JUBs Goiás 2026 is expected to generate approximately R$ 30 million for the local economy and create more than 700 direct jobs and about 2,000 indirect jobs, impacting the hospitality, tourism, transportation, food, and commerce sectors.
By holding this event, Trindade reinforces its leading role in the state and national sports scene, in addition to contributing to the economic, tourist and social development of the municipality.
