Public hearing at the City Council brings together secretaries, councilors and residents; Luana Vieira and Gustavo Queiroz detail proposals for the restructuring of one of the main sports and leisure spaces in the municipality.
The Municipality of Trindade, through the Municipal Department of Sports and Youth, held a public hearing to present and discuss the restructuring and modernization project for Parque Lara Guimarães, one of the main sports and leisure spaces in the municipality.
The meeting took place at the Trindade City Hall and brought together residents, secretaries, councilors, and community representatives to discuss planned improvements for the site. The proposal aims to transform the park into a more modern, accessible space, better equipped to host sporting, cultural, and leisure events.
The Municipal Secretary of Sports and Youth, Luana Vieira, emphasized the importance of the initiative. “This public survey has been taking place for over a year, with signs in Lara Guimarães Park, to listen to our community, to truly hear from those who use the space. The park is not being designed for us, but for the people, based on the needs they present,” she stated.
Among the main projects presented are new public lighting, widening of the access road, improvements in urban mobility, expansion of the event space, future facilities for the Municipal Stadium, and the complete modernization of the park.
“Major projects will be implemented so that we can make Parque Lara Guimarães a better park every day,” stated the Municipal Secretary of Infrastructure, Gustavo Queiroz.
