The Municipality of Trindade held another edition of the "Mutirão nos Bairros" (Neighborhood Outreach Program) on Friday (May 8th) and Saturday (May 9th), this time with a special program to celebrate Mother’s Day. The activities took place in the East and Central regions, offering free services to the population, as well as leisure activities and prize giveaways.
The event was attended by Mayor Marden Júnior, First Lady Dorinha, Secretary of Social Assistance Rouane Azevedo, and other municipal authorities.
Mayor Marden highlighted the importance of the initiative: “The Neighborhood Outreach Program is a way to bring dignity and care directly to where people are. Our commitment is to facilitate access to public services and ensure that every citizen is served with respect and quality.”
On Friday, services were provided in the East region. On Saturday, the event took place in the square of the old City Hall, in the Central region, with the presence of hundreds of residents.
During the two-day community outreach event, residents had access to services in the areas of health, social assistance, housing, security, and job and income generation. Toys were also provided for children, and free popcorn was distributed, creating a welcoming environment for the whole family.

In addition to the services provided, more than 300 prizes were raffled off for the mothers in attendance, which reinforced the special nature of the event.
Emotion and recognition
The initiative was also marked by emotional moments. One of the residents who received care highlighted: “I had a cyst removed that had been bothering me for months. I had consulted with several doctors and there was no way to remove it. Today I managed to. I was in a lot of pain. I give this initiative a 1,000 out of 10. I am very happy.”
One of the mothers who won in the raffle said: “I cried, it was what I’d wanted to win for a long time. I got it, I was very emotional. Thank you so much for the gift. Best Mother’s Day ever. I’ve never received any prize before. So happy.”
Commitment to the population
The "Mutirão nos Bairros" (Neighborhood Outreach Program) is an initiative of the Trindade City Hall that aims to bring public services closer to the population, guarantee easy access, and promote citizenship.
The municipal administration emphasizes that new editions of the community outreach program will continue to take place, providing quality service in all regions of the city.
