Mayor Marden announces an investment of R$ 4.065 million with the participation of Refrescos Bandeirantes, expanding service capacity in the eastern region.
Mayor Marden Júnior will launch the construction works for the new José Felício Sobrinho Municipal School in Jardim Marista this Tuesday (May 5th). The announcement highlights the R$ 4.065 million investment made possible through a contribution from the company Refrescos Bandeirantes, following the donation of a public area for the expansion of its industrial unit.
The new school will have a total constructed area of 2,013.32 m², with a construction period of 180 days from the date of signing.
The structure will be designed to offer greater comfort, quality, and expanded services to students in the region. The project includes 13 classrooms, a 450 m² covered patio, as well as the entire administrative area, with a teachers’ room, principal’s office, secretary’s office, coordinator’s office, storeroom, and archive. The unit will also have accessible male and female restrooms and restrooms exclusively for staff, ensuring accessibility and functionality.
Currently, the school serves around 500 students, and with the new structure, it will be able to serve 800 students, expanding its capacity and reinforcing the municipal administration’s commitment to public education.
The execution and administration of the project will be the responsibility of the Municipal Secretariat of Infrastructure (Seinfra), which will monitor all stages of the project until its completion.
